Sugaring is a superior method of removing body hair, with a literal ball of sugar paste.

Our paste is made of sugar, lemon and water. It’s also fully bio-degradable and hypoallergenic. Sugar and lemon are natural preservatives, therefore there are no harmful chemicals in our paste. Also intentionally, our paste is vegan friendly and gluten free.

Both sugaring and waxing are effective hair removal methods, sugaring tends to be a gentler, more natural, and less painful option that is better for those with sensitive skin.

Firstly, sugaring paste is made of natural ingredients like sugar, lemon juice, and water, while wax is typically made of resins and other synthetic ingredients. This means that sugaring is a more natural and eco-friendly option.

Secondly, sugaring paste is applied at body temperature, which reduces the risk of burns or irritation compared to hot wax. Sugaring paste also adheres less to the skin than wax, which means it is less painful and causes less redness and inflammation.

Finally, sugaring can be more effective than waxing in removing shorter hair, and because it is applied in the direction of hair growth, there is less chance of breakage or ingrown hairs. Results can last up to 4-6 weeks.

Since sugar paste is water soluble, it won’t stick to live skin cells because of the high water content. Leaving the live skin cells intact, means less irritation for your beautiful skin. Sugaring leaves skin feeling soft and smooth!

As often as every 4 weeks. Sugaring can remove hairs as short as 1/8 of an inch in what’s called the antigen stage. Frequent visits help deplete the hair follicle over time, which results in treatments becoming less frequent. (Results will vary from person to person.) You must have at least two weeks of hair growth after shaving.

No, it’s not recommended. Accutane causes severe dryness. It’s suggested to wait, at least 6 months after discontinuing use.

These products cause thinning and shedding of the skin. It’s suggested to wait, 25 days after the initial shedding process has ended.

Since sugar paste only contains sugar, water, and citric acid, it is water soluble. This means that it can be cleaned with just water! Oh and did we mention, you’re left with no sticky residue?!

At the beginning of a sugaring appointment, our aestheticians only get one ball of sugar and use that for the entire appointment. There is no need to go back to the sugar pot for more. Since we only get sugar at the beginning of the service, there is less chance of contamination. Additionally, with such a high sugar content, bacteria cannot grow in the sugar paste.

Less likely, as the sugar paste is applied to the skin against the direction of hair growth. This allows the sugar to seep down the hair shaft, gripping onto the hair follicle causing more follicle damage. The better grip on the hair strand means less breakage. The hair is then removed in the direction of natural growth. The natural stretch of sugar paste also insures less breakage. The taffy consistency helps with a less aggressive lift ensuring less breakage and smoother skin.
